Novelists' Boot Camp

In this intensive and intentional full-day workshop, novelist and creative writing instructor Ryan Gattis will help you push your novel forward with critique sessions and story analyses alongside other authors like you.

You'll give and get critique and leave with a plan for your novel's next steps.

Where: Writers Blok (2677 S La Cienega Blvd)

The Instructor

​

Ryan Gattis is the author of Safe, Kung Fu High School, and All Involved, which won the American Library Association’s Alex Award and the Lire Award for Noir of the Year in France.

 

He lives and writes in Los Angeles, where he is a member of street art crew UGLARworks and a PEN America Prison Writing Mentor. He taught creative writing at Chapman University for 10 years.
